56% of attendees at The Business Travel & Meetings Show 2010 were first time visitors to the event.

Analysis of the data of the 5,261 attendees to the Business Travel & Meetings Show highlighted that 56% of visitors had not visited the event before. ‘Whilst we and our exhibitors always love to see familiar faces visiting the show it is great to be able to clearly demonstrate that the Business Travel & Meetings Show genuinely delivers brand new buyers to do business with our exhibitors’ said show event director David Chapple.
As a result of the 2010 visitor marketing campaign 2,946 of the 5,261 attendees were first time visitors and attended from 1,497 companies. New visitors included buyers from BNP Paribas, BP, Department for International Development, Dyson, Marks and Spencer, The Coca Cola Company, Xerox and many more.
‘As well as sheer volume of visitors to do business with our exhibitors we are delighted to see such amazing quality amongst them.’ continued Chapple ‘Our 2010 visitor marketing campaign really focused on delivering the best new buyers from a wide variety of industries and the results of this are clear.’
The 2011 visitor marketing campaign is being planned to attract even more new buyers to the show. ‘Our 2011 campaign will build on our success this year. With our ‘New Faces’ campaign being put in place to give exhibitors even more face-to-face contact with plenty of fresh new buyers,’ concludes Chapple.
